What treatments does Clínica Dental Palafrugell offer?
General dentistry, root canal treatment, orthodontics (fixed braces and Invisalign), oral surgery, implantology, dental hygiene, periodontics, treatment for bruxism and TMJ disorders, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and children's dentistry. We also work with speech therapy, anaesthesia and radiology specialists so you get complete care.
How do I book an appointment?
Call us on 972 30 65 64: that's the quickest way and we'll answer straight away. If you'd rather write, send the contact form and we'll ring you back to arrange a day and time. You can also drop in at reception, at Carrer de Sant Sebastià, 87. All visits are by appointment.
Do you work with dental insurers?
Yes, with all the main dental insurers: Adeslas, Sanitas, Mapfre and many more. What each treatment covers depends on your policy: tell us which one you have when you book and we'll confirm what's included. If you don't have insurance, we'll happily see you privately.
What are the clinic's opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm. Each dentist works on set days and times, so we'll let you know what's available when you book.
Where are you?
At Carrer de Sant Sebastià, 87, 17200 Palafrugell (Girona), in the building we share with the physiotherapy service of Centre Mèdic Palafrugell. There is parking nearby and it's an easy walk from the centre of town.
What happens at the first visit?
We carry out a full examination of your teeth, gums and bite and, if needed, take an X-ray. We explain what we've found, the treatment options and give you a written quote. Bring any X-rays or reports from other clinics and tell us what medication you take.
How do I cancel or change my appointment?
Call us on 972 30 65 64 as far in advance as you can. That way we can rearrange the diary and offer the slot to someone else.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We have a children's dentist and visits designed for little ones: regular check-ups, brushing advice, fissure sealants, fluoride treatments and, when needed, minimally invasive treatment. We recommend a first visit at around three years old, or sooner if anything worries you.
What is invisible orthodontics?
An alternative to fixed braces that uses custom-made clear aligners to move your teeth into position discreetly. At the clinic we work with Invisalign; our orthodontist will assess whether your case is suitable and explain how long it should take.
How can I prevent tooth decay?
Brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, use floss or interdental brushes, cut down on sugary snacks between meals and come for a check-up once a year (or every six months if you are prone to decay). For children, fissure sealants and fluoride help protect the back teeth.
What hygiene and safety measures do you follow?
Every instrument is disinfected and sterilised after each use, we use single-use materials wherever possible, we clean and disinfect the treatment rooms after every patient and we maintain the ventilation and air purification systems. The team trains continuously in health and safety protocols.
Do you see dental emergencies?
If you have severe pain, a broken tooth or swelling, call us first thing and we'll try to fit you in the same day within clinic hours. Outside our hours, please go to your nearest emergency service.
